Nivea - This brand took the route of emotion by using "mothers" as the focus of their campaign and called it "Nivea’s Mom’s Touch" and launched it on Mother's Day. The theme behind this successful digital campaign was moms and their selfless care for their children/family from marginalised communities. The brand also said that they would donate an amount for girl empowerment. People were asked to share stories of their extraordinary mums on social media. The campaign created a buzz and as moms are special for all , this was a hot viral advertising blitz in the subtlest manner. The learning - not all marketing needs to be obvious and pointed. Kotak Mahindra Bank - in the space where there are dime a dozen banks, how does one break out of the herd to create a buzz? well, Kotak brand did two things: made Ranveer Singh the actor the face of the brand for its campaigns and secondly, the concept of inclusion and indiscrimination and asked all of us to join Kotak 811’s movement towards creating a society where everyone is viewed as one. Its reach was 9 million, Impressions were 702 Million, Engagement was 873000, Views – 15 million on Facebook and growth in Engagement Rate – 47%.
