Simple But Effective Tips To Improve Productivity

Productivity is being able to do things that you were never able to do before.”– Franz Kafka, German novelist.

If there are two words which gets any corporate or its employees buzzing it is “productivity tips”.  In a fast-paced era, everyone is looking for ways on how to improve the productivity of themselves and their organisations. On this blog, we shall look at some easy tips to get you to achieve more from work and your day.

Take mini-breaks – sitting and pouring overwork for long periods is not gonna help you or the company. Get up and take 5 minutes to break for every 55 minutes of work. You will come back refreshed, charged and productive.

Working while commute – you could use the time for planning important tasks, responding to emails, learning new stuff.

Keep checklists – Avoid clutter in your overtaxed mind. Make checklists and note them down on paper. This will make it easier for you to get your tasks done and feel lighter as you tick off each task done. Attempt the easier tasks first so that you get charged with success.

Sleep – A good nights rest can never be underestimated.  6-8 hours daily with same sleeping hours can keep you healthy, productive and sane.

No multi-tasking – It sounds great but honestly it can just cause more confusion and less productivity. Focus on a single task and complete it. It will leave you feeling on top of the world.

Have a personal life – socialize, laugh, eat well and enjoy vacations (mini-breaks or long vacations). They help in recharging batteries, get fresh ideas and insights.

Early start to the day – An early start to the day is a must. It will help you to be more productive throughout the day.  So the old adage of “Early to bed and early to rise makes and man healthy, wealthy and wise” is true and will help you in the long run.

With these simple hacks, you will see your productivity zoom.
