TOP REASONS FOR NGOs TO ADOPT SALESFORCE

Publish date:

NGOs the world over are being bowled by the Salesforce universe as their offerings and “bonding with NGOs by giving free Salesforce licenses” as a way to give back to society are gaining traction. In the 21st century, NGOs have to digitally transform in order to enhance their work and stay ahead in the game of improving their reach.  In this blog, we write about some reasons why NGOs are using Salesforce CRM to be modern-day ready.

  1. Many useful functions can be carried out.  Most laypeople, or, for that matter, those in NGOs, assume that CRMs are only good for fundraising. This is so not true. CRMs are great office tools and are useful in managing volunteers (few or a multitude), different programs being carried out, as well as events of all nature. All NGO processes can be automated and moved to Salesforce to organize and taken care of in the best manner possible.

  2. Dashboards and reports. With data being key and the most important for any NGO to inspect and expand/revise their work, here is where Salesforce scores over other CRMs. With data from different sources integrated and available in a single view, NGOs can access a multitude of reports and dashboards with a few clicks. Insight-based action is enabled and now in your easy grasp.

  3. Flexible, adaptable, and scalable platform. The demand for software is flexible in nature, can adapt as scenarios change, and can be scaled as the number of personnel increases. This is where Salesforce, its various offerings, etc. run away with the prize. Its entire framework and ethos revolve around flexibility, adaptability, and scalability.  Its users are bowled over by its magical aura of making life simpler as needs change and evolve. New fields can be added, page layouts modified, and even automation created without coding marking their presence.

  4. Integration with a wide range of tech tools in the NGO's stack. It has the unique ability to easily integrate with many of the of the software being used by brands and NGOs. It comes with different open APIs and pre-built connectors. This makes it simple to integrate with Outlook or Gmail; marketing automation software such as MailChimp or Pardot; social media channels, and websites. With the entire sack of tech tools connected, there is no more data in silos. Hence, everyone is on the same page with the same data & views.

  5. Segment the various stakeholders associated with your NGO. Segmentation and even micro-segmentation of various stakeholders, such as partners, employees, supporters, media, and volunteers, for better management, communication, and engagement is now easy peasy. Automations enable data fields on a record to be updated. Keep data safe and stakeholders happy with personalised connections.

  6. Daily operations are efficient thanks to automation. A host of mundane processes are automated, leaving staff to be more productive with other stuff that needs their attention and input. No coding automation is at your fingertips. Isn't that just fabulous?
