simple daily task to better you
Taking off from where we left on the daily tasks for being productive and a better person, professional, let’s look at some more ways on doing so.
Read daily, take time out and spend some quiet time on reading a book, magazine or a poem. Books are our best friends and they never let you down. They expand your minds and horizons, and take you across the world while you are seated in your home.
Socialise with your colleagues, be it senior or junior. Don’t disregard anyone. There is no harm being civil or friendly, even if you are an introvert or shy or just a loner.
Organize your work-space efficiently and be the model of neatness. A cluttered desk or cupboard is a sign of disorganized person and that’s not what you want to be or show to the whole world.
Shut off from the work space etc when you head out after your work is done for the day. Don’t bring work home holds true, take a digital detox. Keep the phone away and avoid emails from work.
Set time limits for certain tasks or activities. Time management will help you get a long way. Eg you could set a time limit of 1 hour for a walk, 10 minutes for a presentation or 30 minutes for watching TV or meditating etc
Note things down on a pad (pen to paper), it will help you to not forget important tasks or events, and can help you declutter your tired or taxed brain. Plus it also helps to get your grey cells working.
Prioritize your life, your tasks and decisions. Some have more weightage and demand more from you. Some don’t such as what to eat for meals, grooming or clothes to wear. Others need more focus and concentration especially at work.
