In this blog, we speak to Roushan Kumar Jha, one of the many attendees of our free live courses on Salesforce admin or developer courses. Roushan completed the course in Q4 of 2022 and joined Codleo Consulting (Our sister concern) as a trainee. We are happy to say that, due to his work and diligence, he is now promoted to the rank of employee. Let’s hear more from him.
Q. Good morning, Roushan, tell us details about your background?
I belong to a humble family in the outskirts of Darbhanga town, which is in Bihar. My father worked in the construction trade and lost his job in these difficult Covid times. My mom is a homemaker, and I have two younger sisters. Currently, the home is being run on my salary and I have a major responsibility towards my family.
I have done my schooling and graduation locally from Bihar. I am the first person in my family to have completed my graduation.
Q. Why did you consider Salesforce as a career?
In search of direction and guidance to plot my career, I got advice from a cousin brother and a friend of his who is a Salesforce developer. They spoke to me and encouraged me to look at SF as my career path, as it has a wide scope in the coming years. It is the digital tool of the 21`st century.
Q. How did you hear about the Foundation Free Admin course?
I learned about the course via a post on the Codleo Foundation's LinkedIn profile. It was an opportunity not to be missed. It’s free and online; what more can one ask for.
Q. How was the course experience?
It was good as it provided me with an opportunity to learn about Salesforce. The modules were relevant and focused. We were taught the important aspects of the Salesforce admin course.
Q. What is your experience as a trainee at Codleo Consulting?
The initial 3 months as a trainee were a very good experience. There is a lot to learn. Colleagues and trainers are helpful. We deep-dived and were in a focused training mode. Under the guidance of the managing director, Mr. R. S. Maan, and the managers, we executed the theoretical aspects of Salesforce courses in real life.
Q. What are your future plans?
My aim is to build a stable career, improve my family's financial and social condition, and help others in my area improve their lives. Be an agent of good, as upliftment is very important for the area from where I come. Many young people need support and guidance.
On the professional front, I am going to focus on Salesforce, prepare for the certifications, learn, grow, and be an asset to Codleo Consulting.
Thank you, Roushan, for sharing your story with us. It’s learning for all of us, and we hope it will inspire others to join our courses and make their careers in the vast, expanding universe of Salesforce.
