ON CRM: 9 CRM APPLICATIONS THAT ARE ALREADY USING CHATGPT

Publish date:

At this moment, many software companies are integrating new features into their products using ChatGPT, the conversational AI bot that's now available for licensing. We're still at the early stages of this development. In the realm of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), here's a glimpse of what some major and smaller players are working on.

Big Purple Dot

Big Purple Dot, a provider of CRM and recruiting solutions for the mortgage and real estate sectors has been enhancing its CRM systems by integrating ChatGPT. This addition aims to help clients interact more smoothly with their customers and simplify their sales processes. According to Big Purple Dot, this integration has led to notable improvements in customer satisfaction, lead generation, and operational efficiency. The new features include natural language chat interactions, automated responses to handle questions and objections, and coaching support for team members.

HubSpot

The popular marketing and CRM platform is leveraging ChatGPT to enhance its ChatSpot.ai and Content Assistant tools. According to CMS Wire's Jennifer Torres, Content Assistant is designed to help marketing and sales teams quickly create and share various types of content, such as blog posts, landing page content, website pages, sales and marketing emails, and knowledge-based articles. ChatSpot.ai, on the other hand, is described as more than just a ChatGPT clone. It pulls response data from the HubSpot CRM and other internal data sources. By integrating information from tools like image generator DALL•E 2, Stable Diffusion (a text-to-image model), Google Workspace, and keyword research, ChatSpot.ai delivers results tailored to a company's specific needs.

Microsoft Dynamics

Lucas Mearian at Computerworld reports that Microsoft's new generative AI chatbot, built on ChatGPT technology, will handle tasks like drafting email responses, summarizing Teams meetings, and creating marketing and sales email campaigns. He explains that Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Copilot, based on OpenAI’s GPT-3, extends the capabilities of its existing CRM and ERP software. This tool works alongside these applications to help answer questions, generate content, and summarize conversations and notes. Running on Microsoft Azure’s OpenAI Service, the Copilot bot integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Viva Sales. It helps write customer email responses and creates summaries of Teams meetings in Outlook, pulling in relevant information, such as product details and pricing, from the CRM system and providing insights from recorded Teams calls.

planetRE

The real estate sales and marketing platform has recently launched two new AI tools using ChatGPT technology: Chocolatechips.ai and Aelo.ai. Chocolatechips.ai offers advanced AI features for imaging, video, text, and avatars. It supports both individual users and teams, allowing for permission-based sharing and collaboration. The content created with Chocolatechips.ai can be transformed into emails, blog posts, and social media marketing materials. Aelo.ai, on the other hand, is a fully automated virtual staging platform. It helps agents and builders allow buyers and pre-listed sellers to visualize various interior and exterior space transformations. This happens in seconds using either uploaded or live photos.

Redtail

The CRM system for financial advisors now features a ChatGPT integration, thanks to a partnership with Orion Advisor Solutions. This new capability can analyze conversations between advisors and their clients and suggest possible solutions. Advisors also have the option to review and edit these suggestions before sending them.

Reply.io

The business communications platform has launched a new AI tool called Jason AI, which utilizes ChatGPT technology to craft, personalize, and enhance emails. According to a report by Chris Wood from Martech, Jason AI "employs Natural Language Processing algorithms and the ChatGPT language model to identify key phrases and understand the intent behind email replies received by marketers. It then offers suggested responses. Users can choose to review these responses before sending them. If marketers and sales teams are satisfied with the AI’s performance, they can set the tool to automatically send messages without additional review."

Salesforce

Salesforce has enhanced its Einstein AI tool by integrating ChatGPT to expand its functionalities across the platform. As Eray Eliaçik mentions on Dataconomy.com, the upgraded Einstein AI will assist with various sales tasks, such as generating emails, scheduling meetings, and automating routine work. It will also use data-driven insights to create personalized content for emails, mobile, online platforms, and advertising, helping to attract and retain customers. Since Salesforce owns the collaboration platform Slack, users will be able to use the Slack-GPT app for AI-powered discussion summaries, in-depth research on any topic, and writing assistance for crafting messages quickly.

Widewail

Widewail, a well-known customer review and management platform, has integrated ChatGPT and other AI features to enhance its services. This update supports clients who prefer to handle review responses internally and introduces new topic and sentiment analysis reporting for all users. According to the company, "AI prompts are developed from years of human responses to ensure accurate and strategic replies. By using data from client systems like Point-of-Sale Systems or CRMs, Widewail can create responses tailored to each customer. Business owners can also provide custom instructions to ensure responses align with specific tone or branding preferences."

Zoho

Zoho, a popular CRM platform for small and mid-sized businesses, is using ChatGPT to enhance Zia, its AI-powered sales assistant, across various applications including CRM, Analytics, Desk, and SalesIQ. Zia now offers features such as extracting key information from customer records, predicting deal outcomes, creating custom emails and templates, and checking for grammatical errors. It also automatically summarizes tickets, analyzes customer tone, generates replies from a knowledge base, and tracks down solutions. Additionally, Zia can create multiple versions of emails, highlight action items, generate email summaries, and transcribe conversations, among other tasks.

When my CRM clients ask if they should invest in AI, I advise them to do so—but not in the way they might expect. Many software companies, including those mentioned earlier, are already using ChatGPT and other AI tools and will continue to integrate these technologies in future updates. For my clients, the best investment is in training to effectively utilize these features and enhance their business operations.
